Developing Research Aptitude in Undergraduates
Objectives are to provide information to the electrical engineering graduates about the latest happenings, upcoming technologies, state-of-the-art knowledge, various job, internship, training, project opportunities, future global challenges in electrical engineering. Also, to provide a platform for healthy discussions on electrical engineering concepts, theories, etc. adding value to the readers.

Developing Research Aptitude in Undergraduates
Department of Electrical Engineering has
successfully organized the Webinar on “Career Possibilities in Electricity
Policy and Regulation” on 24.10.2020 by Mrs. Ashwini Ghayal Chitnis,
Independent Researcher and Policy Analyst, Pune. A total of 183 participants
attended the webinar. In this webinar, Mrs. Ashwini Ghayal Chitnis explored opportunities
in the social field with the application of engineering knowledge for the development
of Electricity policies and regulations. She also discussed some case studies in
which she was involved.
Department of Electrical engineering has successfully completed 8 weeks Comprehensive Course on ‘Writing and Publishing Research Paper’ on 24th October 2020. Around 60 participants have completed this course. In this course, participants are empowered with all the vital skills required for writing and publishing research paper through examples, discussions, demonstrations, hands-on, and interaction. Weekly there was one session of two hours only on Sunday from 10 am to 12 pm. The course started on 6th September 2020 and concluded on 24th October 2020. The course was designed in such a way that the research paper of the participants will be ready at the end of the course. Each week participants submitted assignments in parts, which collectively formed their research paper. The complete course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ravindra Munje. Soon the Department will be announcing the next batch of 25 participants in December.
