e-Newsletter August 2021

From HoD’s Desk

Greetings!
The month of August was our first step towards achieving the quality objectives set by IQAC. The final year students had an eventful month with academics, projects, and placement preparations.  Project Selection & Planning sessions were conducted by faculty and industry experts to direct the students in selecting projects following the latest trends in the industry after which the projects were finalized. Third-year students were also guided in Seminar Topic Selection, which is an important step towards developing a technical mindset and exploring the possibilities for the final year project. Second-year students started their academic year in August, which marked their official arrival in the Electrical department. The students were introduced to the department, its faculty, its principles, and the vision it holds for the future.
With valuable experiences from conducting online classes last year, the department is very well equipped for the conduction of lectures and practical sessions in an online manner with the help of videos, simulations and virtual labs, to continue imparting quality education.
