Completed National Level Virtual Students conference on “AI, ML and IoT Applications in Electrical Engineering” was held during 20th - 21st November 2020

A National Level Virtual Students conference on “AI, ML and IoT Applications in Electrical Engineering” was held during 20th - 21st November 2020 in association with the EFFECT student body and IET Nashik Local Network. Total 27 research papers were received out of which 20 were selected for presentation.  

Prof. Dr. D. M. Sonje, Associate professor, Gokhale Education Society's R. H. Sapat College of Engineering, Management Studies and Research, Nashik was the keynote speaker for this conference and the topic was ‘Application of AI and ML in fault detection and classification in electrical machines’.

There were four sessions. Two on each day. Participants presented 15 papers through the Go-to-meeting platform and session chairs Dr. R. K. Munje, Dr. M. P. Thakre, Prof. S. S. Dhamal, and Prof. G. N. Jadhav have given very good inputs to all participants to move further in their topics for work.

Completion of Webinar on "Amplifying Career Opportunities with Electrical Engineering" on 26th November 2020

Department of Electrical Engineering has successfully organized the Webinar on “Amplifying Career Opportunities with Electrical Engineering” on 26.11.2020 by Dr. Vishram Bapat, Director, ECE (India) Pvt. Ltd. Amaravati. A total of 248 participants attended the webinar. In this webinar, Dr. Vishram Bapat explored various opportunities in the field of Electrical Engineering for jobs as well as for entrepreneurial development (Atmanirbhar) with the application of Electrical Engineering knowledge. He also shared his own experiences regarding it.

Completed webinar on “Strategic Planning for GATE in Electrical Engineering” on 10th November 2020

Department of Electrical Engineering has successfully organized the Webinar on “Strategic Planning for GATE in Electrical Engineering” on 10th November 2020 by faculty of GATE Academy and department alumnus Mr.Mahesh Patil.  A total of 165 participants attended the webinar. In this webinar, Mr.Mahesh shared his experiences for planning GATE exam preparation, the mistakes which may be avoided, time management, revision strategy, etc. He shared the pattern of GATE 2021 and changes done from earlier examinations. Finally, he motivated the participants to appear for the GATE examination and shared the opportunities to the graduates after GATE.

“Road Safety Training program by Nashik First” on 31st October 2020

Department of Electrical Engineering has successfully organized the Webinar on the “Road Safety Training program by Nashik First” on 31st October 2020 by Mr. Mayur Bagul, Mr.B.K.Dhumal and their team. A total of 115 participants attended the webinar. In this webinar, he explained why road accidents occur, the percentage of road injured, and dead peoples on road. They also explained Road safety rules and shared live examples of videos. Finally, they explained do’s and don’ts on the road which was the most interesting and motivating part of the webinar.  



Panel Discussion on “Impact of Masters in Electrical Engineering on Graduate’s Career” on 7th November

Department of Electrical Engineering has successfully organized the Panel Discussion on “Impact of Masters in Electrical Engineering on Graduate’s Career” on 07.11.2020. Details of the panelists are given below

A total of 253 participants registered for the Panel Discussion and 100 participants attend the same. Through a panel discussion, the panelists have (1) made graduates aware of the fact that the post-graduation adds value to the education, (2) explore opportunities and job prospects in Electrical Engineering, and (3) help graduates understand that it helps them to get more insight into the engineering subjects and acquire mastery of specialized subjects or topics.
