The successful organization of technical programs, meaningful alumni engagements, celebrations promoting energy awareness, and commendable achievements by our students and faculty members highlight our collective commitment toward quality education, innovation, and professional growth.

I sincerely appreciate the dedicated efforts of our faculty, students, alumni, and the newsletter committee for their enthusiastic participation and support. I hope this newsletter serves as a platform to share knowledge, celebrate achievements, and inspire all stakeholders to strive for higher goals.

With best wishes for continued learning, innovation, and success.

Department Events

STTP on Electromagnetic Simulation of Electrical Machines Using ANSYS Maxwell & RMxprt 15th  to 20th  December 2025!

The Department has commenced a Short Term Training Program (STTP) in association with the IET Nashik Local Network, scheduled from 15th December 2025 to 20th December 2025.

Topic: Advanced Electromagnetic Simulation for Electrical Machines using ANSYS Maxwell & RMxprt. This hands-on program is designed to benefit students, faculty members, and researchers, offering hands-on exposure to advanced simulation tools used in modern electrical machine design and analysis. Around 40 participants have registered for this intensive and insightful training program. The STTP is being effectively coordinated by Dr. Anand Kumar and Dr. Abhishek, whose efforts have made this initiative possible.

Alumni Guidance Session by Mr. Himanshu Sapkale (IIT Roorkee)!

We were delighted to host our esteemed alumnus, Mr. Himanshu Sapkale, on 11th December 2025 at our department. Currently pursuing his M.Tech at IIT Roorkee, Mr. Sapkale interacted with our first-year students and shared valuable insights from his academic journey.

His session focused on preparation strategies for the GATE examination, guiding students on effective study planning, resource management, and the development of a strong conceptual foundation.

Such interactions truly inspire our young learners and strengthen the bond with our alumni community. We are grateful to Mr. Sapkale for taking the time to motivate and mentor our students. A special acknowledgement to Dr. Saravanan S for coordinating this impactful interaction.
