We are delighted to present the June 2026 edition of the e-Newsletter from the Department of Electrical Engineering, K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik. Proud Achievement: AAA Rating by Careers360 for K. K. Wagh IEE&R!

We are proud to share that K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, Nashik, has been recognized among India’s Best Engineering Institutes 2026 by Careers360 and has been awarded the prestigious AAA Rating.

This recognition has been conferred after evaluating key academic and institutional parameters such as quality of students and faculty, learning engagement, infrastructure, graduate outcomes, placements, diversity, and research output. Department Events

Inauguration of 5-Day FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology

The Department of Electrical Engineering successfully commenced a 5-day Faculty Development Program on Electric Vehicle Technology, starting from 22nd June 2026 to 26th June 2026.

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of Dr Prashant Kushare, Dr. Sanjay Mohite, and Dr. Ravindra Munje, whose insights set an inspiring tone for the program.

The FDP is being effectively coordinated by Prof. Snehal Sagare and Prof. Chetan Gadge, ensuring a well-structured and engaging learning experience for all participants.



Expert Session on EV System Engineering during FDP on EV Technology!

As part of the 5-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology, we had the privilege of hosting Mr. Sarthak Pawar on 22nd June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research.

He delivered an insightful session on EV System Engineering, covering key aspects of electric vehicle architecture, system integration, and emerging industry trends. His practical perspectives and domain expertise provided valuable learning for all participants.


FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Day 2 Highlights

On the second day of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology, held on 23rd June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had an insightful and technically enriching session by Dr. Prashant Kushare on the topic: “Design and Optimization of the Electric Motorcycle Chassis for Effective Battery Utilization” The session provided a deep understanding of how chassis design plays a crucial role in maximizing battery efficiency and overall vehicle performance.

The session was highly engaging and offered valuable perspectives for faculty members and participants working in the EV domain. It truly emphasized the importance of innovative design thinking in advancing sustainable mobility solutions.


FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Session Highlights

As part of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had an engaging and thought-provoking session by Arya Mishra on the topic:“Beyond the Vehicles” The session broadened the perspective of participants by exploring the larger ecosystem surrounding electric mobility, going beyond just the vehicles themselves.

The session encouraged participants to think holistically about the future of sustainable transportation and the interconnected systems that support it. It was truly insightful and inspiring for all attendees. 


🚗⚡ FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Day 3 Highlights!

On the third day of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology, held on 24th June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had an insightful session by Shri. Shekhar Borse on the topic:

“Autonomous Mobility: Industry Practices, Emerging Technologies, and Future Opportunities”

The session offered a comprehensive overview of the rapidly evolving field of autonomous mobility, highlighting both current industry practices and future trends.

The session was highly informative and encouraged participants to explore the intersection of electric mobility and autonomous technologies, which is shaping the future of transportation.


FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Day 3 Highlights

On the third day of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology, held on 24th June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had an insightful and technically enriching session by Dr. Saravanan S on the topic: 🔹 “Power Electronics for EV Applications” The session provided a strong foundation on the critical role of power electronics in electric vehicles, enabling efficient energy conversion and control. The session was highly informative and highlighted how power electronics serves as the backbone of modern electric vehicle systems, ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability.


FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Day 4 Highlights

On the 4th day (25th June 2026) of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had the privilege of hosting insightful sessions by Dr. Anand Kumar and Dr. Abhishek Srivastava. Their expert talks provided valuable guidance on emerging trends, technological advancements, and practical challenges in the EV domain. The sessions were highly engaging and enriched the participants with both theoretical understanding and real-world perspectives.

We sincerely thank both speakers for their time, knowledge sharing, and inspiration to all attendees. 


FDP on Electric Vehicle Technology | Day 5 Highlights!

On the 5th day (26th June 2026) of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we had an insightful online session conducted by Prof. Jaydeep Shah.

The session offered valuable perspectives on key aspects of EV technology, blending fundamental concepts with practical insights. Despite being conducted online, the session was highly interactive and engaging, providing participants with an excellent learning experience.

As part of the successful completion of the Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Electric Vehicle Technology, conducted from 22nd to 26th June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, we captured a memorable group photograph with our esteemed Director Dr. Keshav Nandurkar, Head of the Department Dr. Ravindra Munje, distinguished speakers, enthusiastic participants, and coordinators Prof. Snehal Sagare and Chetan Gadge.

This FDP brought together experts and faculty members to explore the latest advancements in electric mobility, power electronics, autonomous systems, and sustainable technologies.

Together, we move forward toward a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable mobility ecosystem.


Preparing Future Engineers: Internship Orientation Session for Final Year Students!

On 25th June 2026, we successfully conducted a Kick-Start Session for the Final Year Electrical Engineering students as they prepare to embark on their 6-month internship journey starting from 1st July 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research.

The session was enriched by the presence and guidance of Shri. Pralhad Dhumal and Shri. Venugopal S, who shared valuable insights from their professional experience.

💡 What made this session truly special was the panel discussion format, where our esteemed experts interacted with last year’s interns, Ms. Aira Rohini Sachin and Ms. Sakshi Gargate. Their real-world experiences and practical advice helped address many queries and concerns of the upcoming interns.

🎯 The open discussion created an engaging platform where students could gain clarity, confidence, and direction before stepping into the industry.

The session was seamlessly coordinated by Dr. Pramod Shahabadkar and his team, along with the Internship Coordinators from the Electrical and Mechanical Departments.

    Faculty Development Program on “Pedagogy on Curriculum Delivery”

As we step into the Academic Year 2026–27, it is essential to reflect, realign, and reinvent the way we deliver knowledge to our students.

With this objective, we initiated a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Pedagogy on Curriculum Delivery” on 27th June 2026 at K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research.

The program focuses on understanding and strengthening the curriculum delivery mechanisms adopted by faculty members while encouraging a shift toward more innovative, student-centric teaching and learning practices.

It was inspiring to witness the enthusiastic participation and openness of faculty members toward embracing new ideas, modern pedagogical approaches, and effective teaching methodologies.

Together, we move forward with a shared vision—to create a more dynamic, effective, and impactful learning environment for our students in the year ahead.

Felicitation Ceremony for Placed Students | A Proud Moment

The Training and Placement Cell of K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research organized a Felicitation Ceremony for our placed students on 4th June 2026.

It was truly a proud and heartwarming moment to celebrate the success of our students in the presence of their parents. We were delighted to felicitate Mr. Aditya Bairagi, Ms. Aira Malegaonkar, and Ms. Sakshi Birari for their remarkable achievements.

Such moments reflect not only the hard work and dedication of our students but also the constant support and encouragement from their families and mentors.
